Multi Award Winning Restaurant…

Located in the heart of Bury St Edmunds – a town increasingly renowned for its restaurant scene – 1921 Angel Hill provides a uniquely refreshing fine dining option.

With Zack Deakins as chef patron, the restaurant follows an unconventional approach with relaxed service and the food reigning supreme.

Guests can enjoy a selection of canapés served alongside an aperitif while browsing our carefully thought out wine list and creative menu.

Why not try our tasting menu whether it be the 5 course or 7 course. This gives you the opportunity to taste a wider range of the menu and experience more of what 1921 is all about through the art of our food.

You do not even have to think about what you are going to drink along side it. We can offer you a wine pairing with each dish, describe why we have selected that particular wine and how it pairs wonderfully with that course.

If you would like to try something from our A La Carte menu, we have something for everyone. We can cater for vegetarians, vegans, allergies and all types of dietary requirements you may have. Let us know in advance and the team can be ready to talk you through what we can offer.

Finish the evening with something sweet, why not try one of our chefs delicious dessert or maybe you would prefer a selection of British cheeses, served with truffle honey, homemade bread and homemade Branston pickle. To be followed by Bury St Edmunds own Butterworth’s coffee and a selection of hand-crafted petit fours.
